Torchwood Ep: Fragments
Apr. 12th, 2008 09:15 pmBeing a Supernatural fan seems to have made me start viewing cars as a regular "character" on other shows too. At the beginning of the episode, I was relieved that the Torchwood SUV was parked far enough away that it didn't get "hurt," then I was worried about it being okay at the end. It's a sickness.

Torchwood Ep: Adrift
Apr. 5th, 2008 09:17 pmI spent the day at the 2008 Severe Storms Seminar at Fermilab today. I was going to post an entry about it before Torchwood, but I didn't get home in time. I'm pooped, so I'll have to post about it tomorrow. I just hope I don't forget the really cool bits by then. There were a lot of good presentations this year.

On the one hand, it was a fairly well-written exploration of a character experiencing an unusual life-changing event, but on the other hand, it was all about Owen. After the whole meltdown he had over Diane last season, I'm really tired of Owen and his issues.

Torchwood Ep: Sleeper
Feb. 2nd, 2008 09:14 pmI'd heard some pretty bad things about this ep from people who'd already seen it, so I was surprised that I liked it so much. Then again, I've been having the opposite reaction to the rest of fandom for pretty much every episode of every show I've watched this season.

Torchwood Ep: Captain Jack Harkness
Nov. 24th, 2007 09:01 pmI want to be fannish about this series, I really do. I loved the character of Capt. Jack Harkness on Doctor Who and was really looking forward to this spin-off series when I heard about it. The thing that's holding me back from becoming a squeeing little Torchwood fangirl is how unprofessional the Torchwood staff is.
