The cast of Torchwood must've been on holiday or something.
I didn't mind the minimal Owen this week, but I did miss Jack, Ianto, and Tosh. I don't like Gwen enough to be interested in an episode that was pretty much just about her and an original character.
The trouble with basing an entire episode around a loser with a boring life is that it makes for a boring episode. Still, it must suck to realize after you die that you've spent your entire life waiting for something or someone to swoop in and make your life better, instead of actively working to direct your life yourself.
