REC
I hate to hit you with a massive series after just hitting you with a massive series, but it just sort of worked out that way. I also feel like this rec is super obvious, but I couldn't not include it.
This is 1.2 million words of Stiles accidentally becoming the human alpha of the Beacon Hills werewolf pack. There are 17 works in this series and there are definitely some I like better than others (I'm afraid the Veronica Mars crossover was wasted on me because I never watched Veronica Mars), but overall there is excellent whumping, interesting relationship dynamics, and Stiles being very clever. The one I reread the most by a long shot is The One You Feed, which was written based on spoilers about the alpha pack before the alpha pack actually appeared on the show (and failed to live up to its hype). I like this alpha pack better.
TEASER
He's still tapping away at his phone when the other alphas start to arrive. They do it one at a time, but within minutes of each other. Kali waits with a stone expression until they're all there. Then she looks at Stiles, gives him a vicious little smile and says, "Okay. Call your pack."
Stiles blinks at her. "What?"
"Bring your pack here. Call them to you."
"Seriously?" Stiles asks. "That's all I have to do?"
Kali laughs in his face. "As if you even can!"
Stiles stares at her for a long minute. Then, completely deadpan, he lifts his face to the sky and says, "A-roooooo!"

Stiles starts out a BAMF (along with almost everyone else), but he also learns and gets better at dealing with different types of problems and listens to his pack and gets therapy to deal with the stuff that's really causing problems for him. And it's not just him! It's a huge series, but it's so completely worth it.
Making Connections (the hunter convention) is one of my favorites. Chris Argent dealing with some of the really toxic stuff in the hunter community, Stiles and Derek's pack interacting with other kids their age who know about supernatural creatures, the tiger trap outside the pack house, "You know that kid you've been neglecting? They're mine now!" levels of found family -- I love so much about it!
