This is an AU in which Rodney is a composer/conductor and John is a concert violinist. Normally in fic, John and Rodney connect on a nerdy level or on a 'saving the galaxy' level, but this time they connect through music. John is really the only one who understands what Rodney is trying to convey in his concerto.
