It's Friday, the 13th Fannish Fifty post! In honor of the event, I present to you a fusion of two supernatural fandoms. Wish is a Weechester retelling of the X-Files episode "Je Souhaite" in which little Sammy accidentally unrolls a genie from a rug and she won't leave until he makes 3 wishes.
This is how I wish the show had handled John Winchester trying to hunt while being a single father. I also liked the various discussions of what the wishes should be. And after all the suspense of trying to guess how the genie would warp any wishes to turn them against Sammy, I loved what his actual wishes turned out to be.
TEASER
"Sammy is just a kid, and he's a good kid. A sweet kid," Dad says, and Sammy is happy that Dad thinks he's a good kid.
"He is a sweet kid," Genie says. "He's not going to ask me to turn the other one into a toad. Stop worrying."
