How do they come up with such clever titles? ;-)
Wow, the last four months haven't been kind to anybody. I hope there's a flashback ep at some point to fill in the blanks, because an awful lot has happened.
So, now there's a lethal virus that only targets people with the mutation that gives them special abilities? Didn't Marvel already cover that with the Legacy virus storyline?
"I'm your biggest fan!" ::dies:: Never change, Hiro. Poor Hiro is going to have his hands full trying to make something out of Takezo Kensei. I'm curious as to how Kensei wound up with the half DNA helix on his flag and sword, considering that DNA was completely unknown to feudal Japan.
Parkman is with the NYPD now. I'm glad he's using his powers for good, but what happened with his wife? I know they're divorced, but I thought they'd reconciled the last time we saw them together. And wasn't she pregnant? Does Parkman keep in touch, seeing as he'll still be the dad whether they're married or not? He seems to be doing a good job playing dad to Molly.
The already dysfunctional Petrellis are setting the bar higher. Nathan drinks too much and is estranged from his wife. Didn't he win the election? Did he give up the senator gig? Because I can't imagine the press wouldn't be all over his downward spiral if he were in office. I also wonder if the burn victim he saw himself as in the mirror is how he really looked after Peter exploded, or if he was projecting, because if he really was burned that severely, he's made a miraculous recovery in only four months. I loved him telling his mother off. She's more pissed that the plan failed than upset about what happened to her sons. It was really sweet that Nathan still refuses to believe Peter is dead even after four months. The thing I loved most about the season finale was Nathan's conscience winning out over his ambition.
And speaking of Peter, how long has he been chained up in that shipping container? I wanted there to be some fallout over the trauma Peter must have suffered when he exploded, but I think amnesia plots should be confined to daytime soaps. And Peter better not wind up working for mobsters and being a bad guy just because he can't remember who he is, because that plot should be confined to bad!fic.
The Bennets looked like they were going to go postal from the mundanity of their lives at dinner. At least the family stayed together, which is more than can be said for the Petrellis and the Parkmans. I loved Mr. Bennet (still can't call him Noah) finally snapping and taking down his officious supervisor. And Mr. Bennet is now plotting with Mohinder. Hee. I'm glad the Company intrigue isn't over yet.
There wasn't enough of Alejandro & Maya for me to decide whether I like them or not. I'll need to see more of them before I form an opinion.
And may I just say how much it sucks that I have Spanish class during Heroes on Monday nights? I was in the middle of a two hour Spanish test when the episode started. I would much rather have been home watching it. Although I did manage to catch and understand some of the Spanish being spoken in the ep, so I guess that's progress.
