I have a feeling Ezekiel won't be around much longer. Bummer. I like this icon.

Dean got re-re-hymenated! If only he'd known it was as easy as signing a form. That's so much more convenient than getting dragged out of hell by an angel.

Too bad Ezekiel seemed to be otherwise occupied for most of this ep. I would've liked to have heard what he thought of the church and the chastity meeting. Also, Dean pretty much told Jody Mills that angels were dicks right in front of him, and I would've liked a reaction to that, although I know why he couldn't just pop out and give one.

I've always thought Ezekiel had his own agenda, and I guess we're working up to a mid-season finale reveal of what it is. Given how tired Sam is and how healed he is not, I'm going to go with Ezekiel using Sam to heal himself and power himself up, which I actually kind of want to see the next time Ezekiel decides to get on with some smiting. (Is it wrong of me to think Sam is extra hot when he's possessed or soulless?) I just want to know what's going to happen to Sam. He's obviously still too injured (according to Vesta) to survive without Ezekiel, but I don't have high hopes that Ezekiel will stick around and fulfill his end of the bargain after he heals himself.

ETA: This was the icon used on the original LJ post.

Yeah, I'm really scared of what Zeke is really up to here. :/

It was so chilling when he popped out and stopped Dean from telling Sam the truth. :/ He really holds all the cards at this point, and I think Dean is just starting to realize that.

But Sam is so broken and discouraged, and he's utterly breaking my heart. Poor thing. :(

This is NOT going to end well. :-S

Yeah. I know Dean was desperate to save Sam's life and everything, but there's no such thing as a free lunch.

Not at all; I totally agree about the hotness factor. :) Interesting to note that in those instances, "Sam" is totally in control of whatever situation he's in, or doesn't give a shit. Regular Sam is a bit more of the victim, with less confidence. I suppose that says more about us than it does about Sam. ;) Regardless, Jared knocks it out of the park every time when it comes to adding that extra somethin' somethin'.

I think regular Sam just has lines he won't cross, so he goes so far and no farther in fights. When he's soulless or possessed, those lines disappear and he gets to be a full-on BAMF.

Me neither...

The singular incident where I found Sam hot as his normal self was the ep with Henrickson (and Lilith) where he did the exorcism. Yes. ;)I like him being toppy and dominating.

Poor Sam. I think this really goes toward the theory that's been floating around about Sam thinking he's going insane again.

I loved every time Sam ever faced off with Gordon. Sam got to be tough and smart, and also got to decapitate Vampire!Gordon with razor wire.

I think this really goes toward the theory that's been floating around about Sam thinking he's going insane again.

That could turn out to be a perversely positive thing. Fandom has been taking bets on whether Sam will walk out or kick Dean out when he learns the truth, but what if he's just so relieved he's not crazy that he just gets over it and lets it go?

Wordy McWord to everything you said. You know I've been with you from day one that Zeke has his own agenda, and last night pretty much cinched it. Sam should deffo be more healed by now--it's been WEEKS! I'd be worried, Dean...

Have you done a post about Vesta yet? I'm woefully behind on my flist, so I haven't gotten that far.

I actually think we are going to lose Sam for a while. It was clear that Zeke hasn't cured Sam and if he leaves now, Sam's organs are still not working. So I think Zeke will stay and stay in charge and Sam will be totally subsumed by Zeke.

I'm not sure how I would feel about that. On the one hand, I love watching Jared play Ezekiel and I love watching Ezekiel get his smite on. On the other hand, I love watching Sam be Sam. Oh, well. It'll be Jared either way.
