Yay! Another good ep. Humor that was actually funny, romance, and invisibility. What more could a fangirl ask for? Okay, maybe cute guys, but they were all snapped up by Heroes, Supernatural, and Stargate Atlantis. Maybe they could have Callum Keith Rennie guest star. He's been in everything else that shoots in Vancouver.

The ep started right out with Jack confronting Henry with what Henry said about Beverly being responsible for Kim's death. Henry blew it off as nonsense he was spouting while he was under the influence of a chemical imbalance. Jack was unconvinced, mostly because Henry did a really lousy job of lying for the first time this season. Maybe the stress of keeping such a huge secret from his best friend is getting to him? That's pretty much what he's been hinting at for the last ep or two.

Henry wound up giving his evidence against Beverly to Nathan because Jack was suspicious. Why do I think that was probably a bad idea?

The Kim and artifact storylines both got touched on. The artifact plot has shown up so rarely that I keep forgetting it's ongoing. It looks like there are only 4 more eps this season to wrap up both major plots, so I hope the writers build up to it instead of doing an infodump or waving a magic wand in the season finale. Of course, that assumes they plan to wrap up either or both of the plots this season.

Jack had his one year anniversary in Eureka. None of his friends or family remembered. His dry cleaner did. I think Jack needs some new friends.

Which it looks like he got. He went on a date with his dry cleaner, Callie. I wonder if this relationship will continue? And I wonder what happened with the Jack/Allison romance? The show spent all of season 1 trying to build a relationship there, but that's been totally off the table this season. I wonder why? Personally, I don't mind. I like Callie. Jack seems to have better chemistry (no pun intended if you saw the episode) with Callie than with Allison anyway.

My only major quibble with the episode is that if Frank was already dead (and invisible) when Zoe hit him with her car, how did the windshield get cracked? If he was already lying down, which you'd think he would be if he were dead, she should have just felt a jolt as she ran over him. Personally, I think Zoe should've hit invisible Frank and killed him, which would totally not be her fault since there's no way she could've seen the invisible guy to avoid him, then just have everybody who knew the truth make a pact to not ever tell her.

And now, a word from our sponsor:

Maneater: "Nature has developed a new cure for overpopulation." Umm, if nature has developed a new cure for overpopulation, then shouldn't such a creature be preying where the excess population is, instead of running around in the woods in a rural area where there're fewer people to eat? Or am I just being too picky?

And now I have to go back to studying Spanish. I have my first big test tomorrow. Wish me luck.
