the_other_sandy: Black and white TV (TV)
This episode was kind of meh, but holy crap am I looking forward to next week's.

Episodes where Steve and Danny don't interact much don't quite pop for me the way the others do, but that's just me. Show has had worse episodes. At least there wasn't any Doris.

It was nice to see Danny save the day all by himself. Who's going to write the fic where the first Steve hears about Danny being involved in a shooting incident is when Danny's report hits his inbox? Danny being surrounded by supermodels all cooing over pictures of his daughter will never get old. And how adorable was Grace at the fashion show?

I have to hand it to Behati, she was by no means the worst stunt cast guest star from a field other than acting the show has ever had. I'm still cringing over Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo two years later.

Here's hoping next week's up is as awesome as it looks.

As much as I love the show it was not their best episode. Didn’t like both cases.
Please Peter NO! more models on H5O the first one in season 1 was crap and this one was not good either.Cast real actors instead of models next time.

The highlight in this episode was Max and Sabrina they were cute together I loved Sabrina (daughter of Bruce Willes and Demi Moore) you can see this girl has talent.

Did enjoy seeing Steve/Kono as the main duo again. Love how they are switching up partners this season.

Steve and Kono chasing the naked hula guy was hilarious!! Steve all yikes! when he tackled the guy down and saying to Kono "Your turn fair is fair"

Loved Danny how he solved the models case on his own, shows how good he is as a cop.

Steve roof chase was awesome!SuperSeal in full mode!
And Uncle Steve and Gracie were adorable.

For the rest it was a filler episode for me.

Missed Catherine in this episode.

Next week looks awesome can't wait for that one!

The girl in the yellow bikini that's been in the credits since season one has been replaced with a shot of guest star Behati Prinsloo in a bikini. I hope it was only for this episode.

Cast real actors instead of models next time.

I think the models have done better than most of the pop stars and athletes.

Max and Sabrina they were cute together

Like with Kono and Adam, I would have bought that relationship a little more if it had been set up first. Max was showing improbable levels of devotion to someone he'd never talked to without a 4 foot counter between them.

And Uncle Steve and Gracie were adorable.

They were. They were so adorable I started wondering how much time the three of them spent together as a family unit.

Shows you how much attention I pay to the opening credits. I didn't even notice the girl in the yellow bikini.

I didn't mind the Victoria Secret case like some people, but the bank robbery didn't make any sense at all! I love how Steve and Kono talked it over and over, not able to make sense of it either. And give us a break with the Cordoba dude being able to leap tall buildings etc, etc ! Anyone ever have a friend on chemo? From what I understand, you can barely sit up and walk. It would be pretty unlikely that someone at the end stages of cancer could run and jump that well.
I also enjoyed switching it up with Steve and Kono. There were some great Steve/Danny moments at the beginning and the end. I loved when Danny brought his daughter to the show. They were actually back stage, so the excitement was letting her meet the models. And she got bragging rights with her friends. Take that Step-Stan and your money, Daddy Danno was able to give her a special date for Grace with her Uncle Steve and Danno all duded up.
I liked Behati too, how they made the models down to earth, hanging out and cooing over Danny's pictures of Grace. The stalker scenario is very plausible.
Can't wait for next week either, but I love the excitement of knowing a new episode is coming!

The bank robbery thing was completely ridiculous. But then the show often has ridiculous plots. I think I've developed some kind of ridiculous plot immunity now so it doesn't really affect me anymore.

Steve was clearly having a bad day. He spent blocks trying to catch a guy who was so stoned he was practically moving in slow motion, then he completely fails to catch a guy going through chemo.

The bank robery didn't bother me too much. I think the writers were trying to show that people don't always act logically so there wont always be a smooth, logical reason for the crimes. Thought the bad guy and Steve jumping out the window bugged me horribly. I actually shouted at the TV because jumping from a height like that and landing feet first would have caused them to break some bones in either their legs or ankles. They would not be geting up and running off from that like they did. That was the one thing that really bugged me this episode.

I thought Max and Sabrina were cute and I loved the interaction between Danny and the models. It was kind of nice to see the models flirting with Danny over Steve. Usually its the other way around. I can only imagine how that likely irritated Steve and how much Danny would be milking that in the weeks to come.

Overall it was deffenitly an improvement over the previous two episodes.

Yeah, my first thought was that the chase should have ended immediately when both Steve and the bad guy broke both their legs.

Exactly! My roomates actually came to see what was going on when I screamed out at that scene. Because they really couldn't have walked away unscathed.

Yes to all this! I thought Behati did a good job. She was charming and didn't detract from the scenes at all unlike, as you said, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo who were just painful to watch. Oh, and Diddy! I forgot until just now how much I loathed his performance. Compared to all three of those, Behati was fantastic.

I am ridiculously excited about next week. I am totally operating on the assumption that it will not only be AS awesome as it looks - it will be MORE awesome. *nods* =)

It probably says something that the only thing I remember about Diddy's performance off the top of my head was him sitting on the beach in white pants and having the seat of said pants remain pristine after he stood up.

Yeah, this episode was severely meh. I would have enjoyed Danny's plot more if he had actually done anything besides flirt with the models and shoot the psycho. Really, Fong did all the work on that one.

I'm surprised that Danny let his baby girl anywhere near Victoria's Secret models in catwalk outfits. Maybe he's starting to come to terms with her getting older?

Also, did Danny really think his boyfriend best friend Steve would let him ask Behati for her phone number when he was standing right there? The man already told him to behave!

Fong didn't exactly break a sweat either. The magic computer handed the whole case to them on a plate.

Cockblocking Danny seems to be one of Steve's major hobbies.
