So, I realize I'm super late with this and it's old news now, but I figured I'd throw out a reaction post just to complete the set.
On March 30, the BF and I played hooky from work and drove out to Galena. Much shopping, eating, and driving (Galena is on the other side of the state) was done, and we didn't get home until after the episode had started, but we had an awesome time. And then I totally forgot I hadn't watched this episode until I saw the preview for tonight's. Oops.
Can I just take a moment to say how happy I am that LJ got rid of the stupid scissors?
And can I just say how not surprised I am the Bobby's spirit is tied to his flask? But I am a little disappointed. It's not that I don't like Bobby, because I do, but he got such a great heroic send-off that it seems kind of cheap to bring him back just eight episodes later. I really hope that the only reason Bobby is interacting with Dean alone is that Dean carries the flask. Playing favorites is not cool.
Garth was a lot more interesting to me in this ep than he was in the last one. Most of the time I boggle at the fact he's survived this long as a hunter, but then he'll turn around and do something really smart and I'll be less surprised he's still alive.
And I really liked the interaction between the boys in this ep. I loved their teamwork in ganking the demon when Sam could see it and Dean couldn't, and I'm very proud of them for continuing to actually talk to each other now instead of pretending the issues aren't there.
I suppose the good news about having waited this long to watch the last ep is that I only have to wait an hour to watch the new one. BRB
