Thank you, show, for reminding me how much I like you.

Is it just me, or did we get more Steve and Danny interaction in this one episode than we have in the whole season up to this point? I actually squeed just a little bit every time Steve said "Danny and I" were going to do something, because we just haven't heard it that much lately. Three cheers for them working together as partners again. And I loved that when Danny said he'd hunt down and kill anyone who took sexually suggestive pictures of Grace, Steve was immediately all "me too."

I also loved Chin's o.O face when Lori was babbling on about Steve in Trisha's hotel room. Way to sound like a teenage girl with a crush, Lori. I guess that's why she hasn't been fulfilling her Five-0 babysitting duties for the new governor. It did crack me up that the person with the psychology training was complaining that Steve was hard to read. She should just ask Danny. He's never had any problems.

Kono working undercover was not exactly a surprise. Fryer getting her to work for him by threatening the rest of Five-0 was also not a surprise. In fact, I'm glad he did because Fryer came off as so skeevy that I was having a hard time buying him as a squeaky clean good guy. I loved that Kono decided to stay undercover to save Trisha, not because she gave a crap about Fryer's Delano vendetta.

Steve kind of annoyed me with his "Why didn't she come to us?" regarding Kono. Why did she have to come to you, Steve? Why didn't you go to her? Not that it would have affected her slow slide into bad behavior because she was undercover, but still, you couldn't have picked up the phone at some point and shown a little support for the rookie who was taking the fall for the theft you committed? But I did appreciate Steve punching Fryer in the face just on general principles. Did I mention I think he's skeevy?

The slo-mo shot of the team walking in unison at the end made me very happy. Here's hoping the band is finally back together now. And that Joe won't completely take over the remaining episodes he's in like he mostly has so far.

Not just you - it really felt like we were back to 'normal' Danny-Steve.

"It did crack me up that the person with the psychology training was complaining that Steve was hard to read. She should just ask Danny. He's never had any problems. YES!

I totally did not notice the absence of Joe until you mentioned it - but seriously, yay for NO JOE for at least one ep. Lets hope he's kept in the background where he belongs.

I like how we just keep agreeing with each other. =)

[swoon] I loved that! Steve and Danny together rocks, but Steve being an automatic part of Danny's family is even more awesome. Steve punching Fryer came in a close second for my favorite scenes in this episode, but the "me too" beats it.

Lori would have sounded more like she had a crush if she had had any emotion in that scene. More and more, it seems like the writers are trying to make some Lori + Steve action, but all of the actors are fighting it. Chin completely stole that scene with his Zen patience.

I kindof hope that Kono gets to do a little yelling of her own on the undercover thing. Yes, she's the rookie. Yes, the rest of the team wants to protect her. Yes, Fryer is scum and took advantage of her situation. However, she's a big girl and she gets to make her own decisions, including deciding to protect the rest of the fricking team!

Apparently Lori used up all of her facial expressions in her first episode and now she's just stuck with this one for the rest of the season. Besides, everyone knows that moving your facial muscles just gives you wrinkles.
