And we have thundersnow! Okay, it was just one bolt of lightning and one crack of thunder, but it was still pretty cool.

I have west facing windows, and the wind gusts have been strong enough to shake my curtains. I live in a brick and poured concrete building. The wind has also embedded so much snow in my screen door that I can't see out of it at all. It's just one solid sheet of white.

Gotta love Midwest weather. We got off easy here, compared to what you're getting. Lots of wind, though. Hope you don't lose power!

Me, too! It's way too cold. Although there have been a bunch of power outages in the Chicago area already. Brr.

We've been having thundersnow for a bit so far! Lots of lightening, not much thunder though!

There's been more thunder and lightning since I posted, but not as much as some other places have been getting.

We were a bit like you: 1 bolt of lightning, a crack of thunder, and that was it for the thundersnow. We've got a 2 1/2 foot drift up on the back deck, though. The spouse and kid are home today, and, as for me, that's the only problem with my telework agreement. I don't get snow days.

About an hour after I made this entry, there was a period of more thunder and lightning. Maybe half a dozen flash/bangs altogether.

I would LOVE to see thundersnow. we had some predicted by it either never came or I slept through it. yeah, we've had snow like that into the window screens. right now it's just ice ice ICE outside.

It's pretty cool. They say the snowfall is supposed to be more intense with thundersnow, but it was already so snowy and windy yesterday it was hard to tell. I can't even get updates on what's going on because my cable went out overnight, and there's snow caked on my windows so I can't see outside unless I go outside, which I think I'll take a pass on.
