the_other_sandy: Chibi Sam Winchester listening to music (Music)
Yes, it's song lyrics meme time again here at Dr. Terror's House of Pancakes.

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] sinjinh1.

Step 1: Put your MP3 player on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

Wow, number 8 is the only one that sounds even vaguely familiar. I still don't have a clue what it is.

*cheats and looks it up* Okay, I've heard the song, but I couldn't tell you where. lol It's not something I know.

There was a really cute J2 vid to this song that Tara and Theresa were watching during a lunch break at the last WinMid.

I was kind of think it was a J2 vid, but I wasn't sure. That explains it, then.
3. Anymore Time Between - Bob Mould (preening for turning you onto that song after you were kind enough to turn me onto Bob Mould to begin with).
4. Boston - More Than a Feeling (hadn't realized you did Boston)
19. (Don't) Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult
Oh, Jesus. How did I miss 19? I must be more tired than I thought! lol I think I'll go to bed now.
Correct on all three, but then you knew that already.

hadn't realized you did Boston

Boston is one of many, many bands that I like one or two songs by.

#6 is "Halo" by Depeche Mode. I keep thinking I should know #2, but I won't cheat.

Correct!

I bet you would know #2 in a second if you heard the words sung instead of just seeing them lying there. In fact, I bet you would also know #9 and #15.

Sorry hon, but none of those are familiar. I might try this one on my LJ though. I guess if I get an instrumental track I skip it right?

Yeah, it's pretty hard to type out the lyrics of a song that doesn't have any. I skipped a J-Pop song because the lyrics are in Japanese and I can't spell them.
