"Ever since my first day on the job as a Starfleet Captain, I swore I'd never let myself get caught in one of these Godforsaken paradoxes. The past is the future, the future is the past--it all gives me a headache." -- Captain Janeway

Yeah. Me too.

And if everyone is going to run around "fixing" time, could they please leave volume 1 alone and try fixing volume 2 or 3 instead? It was nice to see Charlie, Eden, and Isaac again, but it just reminded me how much I miss them.

And why was HRG acting then like he does now? When did he ever give the slightest hint in volume 1 that he was contemplating cheating on Sandra? And if Lauren was so important to him, how come we never heard of her? And speaking of important significant others, I know Hiro loved Charlie, but the great love of his life? What was Yaeko, chopped liver?

This is why I hate when Heroes mucks with time. The writers fail with continuity when they're telling a linear story. Throw in alteration of the timeline and it becomes impossible to tell things that were deliberately changed due to the butterfly effect apart from continuity fail.

I just think it would be awesome if we stopped revisiting (over and over and over) things that already happened and focused on something new instead. Remember when the show used to do that?

I cheered when Janeway gave that speech! Time travel, time paradoxes, etc make me a twitch. ;-)

As much as I love Hiro, I wish TPTB would stop having him try to fix things. And I wish - after 3 years of people taking advantage of his naiveté - that he would finally get a clue.

I wish the writers would watch their own show. It was established in canon in volume 1 that Hiro couldn't go back in time to save Charlie. Whenever he tried, he wound up somewhere else.

And I wish - after 3 years of people taking advantage of his naiveté - that he would finally get a clue.

I swear he was so fixated on Charlie tonight, especially at the end with the carnival, that he came across as autistic.

I really like my wife's take on the Charlie/Japanese bimbo issue. He was madly in love with Charlie - and she was the love of his life. JB was just an idea that he was in love with not a person... he grew up hearing all these romantic stories about the beautiful princess and such so he was in love with the idea of her... but not so much her.

That's how I felt about Kensei and Yaeko. It's like Kensei fell in love with her because Hiro said the legend says he does. I never really felt how Kensei/Adam could become lifelong enemies with Hiro over Yaeko's love when I never felt like he really loved her.
