Starlog magazine just ceased publication.

It's been a few years since I last read it, but I think I still have some back issues in my closet.

It did? I have the first 100 issues, but stopped subbing eons ago.

The library where I work had a subscription. We just got a notice from our serials vendor not to expect any more issues.

Awww. Ten years ago I used to read it cover to cover.

I used to read it pretty often until it went all Trek all the time. I got Trekked out and stopped reading it. Then I discovered the Web and never went back.

I read it until the writing quality started to decline. In recent years I'd do a quick flip through it at bookstores to see if there were any interesting articles or book reviews.

I actually had a subscription up for renewal - guess I don't have to worry about that now. :(
