I think I'm getting whiplash again.

Dear Writers,

Yes, people have been known to change over time, but they don't generally do a 180° personality change on a dime, nor do they do it several times over the course of a few days. Please choose one personality per character.

No love,

Sandy (no, the other one)

P.S. -- Oh, and please stop with the fakeout deaths, too. Nobody's fooled anymore.

Nathan, Nathan, Nathan. You have the right idea about stopping people who are abusing their powers, but Pinehearst is the source of the problem, not the solution. I know you're all about being independent and no one's puppet these days, but you always do better when you let Peter be your conscience, so you might want to listen to your little brother on this one. Oh, and in case no one told you yet, the dad you just abandoned Peter to work with is the same dad who was behind the attempt on your life that resulted in your wife (remember her?) being paralyzed. So far, your attempts at being your own person are not impressing me, but I guess you haven't really had much practice yet.

I'm really loving Powerless!Peter. He seems to be really determined to not let his powers define him. He wants to be good and special and a hero even without them. I was a little worried about him holding off Samedi's army with an automatic weapon, but he did it in a very Peter way, namely spraying bullets at the ground and into storage drums and never managing to hit anybody. Then as soon as he ran out of bullets, he surrendered. Too bad he doesn't speak French like his brother, or he probably could've talked his way out of the whole thing.

No daddy points for Bennet this week. He chose to go after Sylar and Elle instead of staying with Sandra to take care of Claire. Even when he said he was on his way, he immediately got distracted by another lead and took off after Sylar and Elle again. Then at the end, when he was trying to convince Claire how important she was to him (no, really, more important than anything, Clairebear), he took off on her the second he realized Sylar was still alive. Somehow, I don't think he convinced her.

I really hope Bennet is right about Sylar not being a Petrelli. It would make more sense if he inherited his mental health from his batty mother. Those two really needed to open up a motel together. I even have a rocking chair they could borrow.

You know, I can buy Elle ultimately forgiving Sylar for killing her dad, in part because she feels some guilt about making him the killer he is today, but I can't buy that Elle has forgiven him to the point of having sex with him and wanting to run away to start a new life with him. On the other hand, Sylar and Elle are the two characters whose personalities are most likely to change according to what the writers need them to be this week, so I guess it makes a weird kind of sense that they would end up together. Too bad for Elle that the writers needed Sylar to be a sociopath again this week. Bye bye, Elle. At least one of your personalities was kind of cool once.

I hope Hiro gets his memory back soon. Not only is it redundant because Peter got an amnesia plot last season, it's also kind of pointless because Hiro at 10 years old is barely distinguishable from Hiro as an adult. I did feel sorry for him when he hit the stretch of comics that told him about losing Charlie and his dad, though.

And it's about freakin' time they hit Isaac's last issue of 9th Wonders. How long has he been dead now? The one ability of Peter's I miss is the future-drawing that he got from Isaac. In fact, I'd secretly been hoping that Peter had taken over drawing 9th Wonders during the four months he was missing last season, but no, he was just moping then. Anyway, the show has been using Isaac's works as a crutch for long enough now. It's not like none of the other characters can see or draw the future.
