I wouldn't mind at all if the Petrellis got their own spin-off series so I could spend a whole hour every week staring at the wondrous dysfunction of the Petrelli family.

Rumors of Arthur Petrelli's death seem to have been greatly exaggerated. How long has he been maneuvering behind the scenes? Since he had Maury Parkman go after Angela, I'm guessing that Arthur and Angela are not working together at the moment. I'm so glad Maury is behind the imaginary Lindermans that Nathan and Daphne are talking to, because the imaginary Linderman thing now makes sense, and it means I called something right for once--Nathan is being manipulated closer and closer to the presidency like he was back in season 1.

One of the these days, present Peter and present Nathan will both be in the same room and conscious at the same time, although it was nice to see Nathan worrying about his comatose brother.

Angela once told Peter that he had always been her favorite. Given the way she was prepared to let him die for her greater plan, was he her favorite because he was born with his ability, while Nathan wasn't? Nathan had to have his ability given to him by The Company.

I'm kind of 'meh' about Tracy Strauss, but she did provide a great reality check for Nathan.

"You think God gave us these abilities?"

"If He didn't, who did?"

"A doctor in Reseda, California."

If she continues to be the voice of reason opposite the imaginary Linderman, I suspect I'll grow to like her more.

Claire's first attempt at vigilante justice didn't go well. Things just weren't as black and white in real life as they looked on paper. Stephen turned out to be a decent guy who just happened to have lost his temper once when he didn't have any control over his abilities. Then Sylar of all people saved her life while working for The Company as her dad's partner. Talk about upending your worldview.

Poor Stephen. He even went so far as to use his powers on himself rather than on Sylar. How many other people on level 5 aren't the monsters they were made out to be, or at least weren't when they were first incarcerated? How many of the level 5 monsters became that way out of bitterness over what was done to them?

And poor Meredith. Eric Doyle's power is a nasty one for a psychopath to have. Either Matt or Peter could make Meredith want to have dinner with them if they chose to abuse their power that way, but Doyle can only manipulate Meredith physically, not mentally. She's completely conscious and hating every second of what he's forcing her to do.

I keep trying to find something to write about Hiro and Ando, but as much as I enjoy the characters and their interaction with Daphne, that plotline has virtually no forward motion. They've been looking for the formula for how many episodes now?

When did Mohinder's storyline turn into a Hammer horror film? Seriously, he could totally be played by Vincent Price (God rest his soul) right now. Part of me feels sorry for Maya because it would totally suck to be cobwebbed to a wall alive by your creepy boyfriend, but on the other hand, I've always thought Maya was an idiot so it wouldn't upset me terribly if she didn't survive.

I'm really interested in seeing what Arthur and Maury are up to, but Mohinder and Maya's story has gotten so cheesetastic that it feels like it belongs on another show.
