I was especially pissed that the writers crapped on years of friendship and respect by not having Thor say goodbye to Jack before he died. Even if RDA hadn't been available, Thor could've asked someone to pass on his farewells to O'Neill.
Ditto. The humans didn't know what the Asgard were about to do until they got there, so why could no one have just said "General O'Neill wanted to be here but he was busy saving the world" or something similar? Have not O'Neill and Thor been best buds for years? I understand about time restraints and actor availability, but seriously... Do they not understand that science fiction fans are not the usual brain-dead tv viewer and are going to notice something like that?
