It was, but cranking out a 10 page paper every other week (sometimes 2 in one week) for a year and a half will do that to you. My poor BF got to listen to me melt down daily via email for my entire grad school career.
I haven't even set in any applications yet, it's hard enough trying to find a place that I would want to apply to because I've limited myself so much about what I want.

Sometimes you have to take a less-than-ideal job right out of school to get the right experience that will lead to an ideal job later on. I started out temping for a library specific temp agency out of grad school to get experience to put on a resumé, which got me the job I've had for the last 11 1/2 years. I'm just sayin'.
