That's what I did with Fangoria. He wound up canceling 3 days before the con, so I wasn't out anything. I'm not into the autographs and picture taking, so I don't need to buy tickets in advance. Still, it's a Creation con and I'm reluctant to give them any more of my money. I've been going to conventions for 22 years, and the one Creation con I attended was the worst con I've ever been to, no contest.
