You and me, both. Every time TPTB hold an interview and gush about how great Sam is (She's a soldier and a scientist! She's brilliant! She can do anything!) I have flashbacks to when Voyager turned into The Seven of Nine Show. I don't want to see Rodney lusting after Sam (of even just snarking with her) at the expense of quality McShep snarking time. But really, I just want her to be a character again like she was in the first 3 or so seasons of SG-1, instead of the Mary Sue she became later. And I hope she only gets about as much screen time as Weir, Landry, and Hammond did when they were base commanders, instead of being shoehorned into the main plotlines just because the writers love her so much, so surely we do too.
