That was an unfortunate choice of title...
...because the bulk of the episode was about kids (Claire andFergus Crowley) being abandoned by their parents.
Is this the first episode we've had that didn't have a hunt or really anything much supernatural? I mean, the only "case" was finding and helping a runaway teenage girl who was having some very non-supernatural problems.
And why were the Winchesters being such dicks about Castiel calling them for help? In what universe is helping a teenage runaway who they actually know not something they're willing to do? And then Dean almost immediately turns around and asks a favor of Castiel after making such a production out of Castiel asking him for help.
I can totally see Dean asking Castiel to kill him if the mark gets the upper hand again, though. Sam could never bring himself to do it, and even if he could, I don't think Dean would want Sam to have to live with the memory of having done it.
Wow, Jimmy Novak really got screwed, didn't he? I'm sure being rewarded with a spot in heaven is a great comfort to him while his wife is MIA and his daughter is a repeat juvenile offender in foster care. Kinda makes all the sacrifices he made and pain he endured worth it...not.
Meanwhile, Sammy is all done except for the backstitching. Miles and miles of convoluted backstitching.
