My Gundam Wing OTP, Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell. When I first started on LJ, I was very much into Gundam Wing and I also needed a general slash icon. But then sunhawk16's Ion Arc ruined me for all other Gundam Wing fic and I got icons for my other slash pairings, so I never really used this one much, which is a bummer because I love these two in their Preventer uniforms.

Another one of my very early icons. Since all of my other icons were fannish, I decided I needed one that wasn't. I had just discovered Kaleidoscope Painter, so I spent an evening playing around with it and made something like seven icons. This one turned out the best. I mostly use it when I post about my various craft projects, which isn't often because I rarely finish anything.

I've been a Gatchaman fan in its many incarnations since I saw Battle of the Planets in elementary school. When I first made this icon, there were two Gatchaman movies in production (one live action and one CGI) and the first series was coming out on DVD, so I thought I'd be using this icon more. I never heard what happened to the live action movie, but the CGI version got mired in all kinds of production and money problems at the corporate level, and the release date keeps getting pushed back. If I ever need to prune icons, this will probably be one to go.

Icon by tv_boyfriends. I just grabbed this one because it amused me. The picture and the caption are perfect for each other, and I'm in some fandoms that get pretty wanky at times. It's good to know that John Sheppard shares my pain.

You know how the GLBTQ community has the rainbow flag? This is the asexuality flag. There's been a lot more discussion about asexuality on my comms since Sherlock came out in 2010. While I do have a Sherlock icon for discussion of the show itself, this is the icon I use for general discussions of asexuality.
