Everybody was themselves this episode! That shouldn't be so odd. I loved Sam remembering the "helping people" part of the family business even when he's totally messed up.
Good on Jared for getting the "I haven't slept in a week" feeling across. Dean kept Castiel's coat in his trunk! Right next to the notebook he wrote "Dean and Castiel Winchester 4ever" all over.
It looked to me like the ridiculously over the top electroshock made things much worse in Sam's head, so I don't know if it actually is just Sam's Hell-cracked head toying with him.
I've missed Misha. He plays such a great solemn straight man.
I too wondered about Daphne. Does she ever find out that her husband isn't coming back (and is trapped in a mental ward thinking Satan is sitting with him)? I know that might be awkward for Dean to get across but....
That was the same actress as Meg? Wow. I had no idea from how different she looked. Personally, I liked her line readings.
