Geez, Dabb and Loflin are in serious danger of making me forget how much I didn't like them when they first started.
I love the return of the grey area, where the monsters aren't just black-and-white evil. Like Lenore before her, Amy was doing the best she could to survive without killing anyone, only giving in long enough to save her son's life. Considering the things Sam and Dean have done for each other, that's not half bad and Sam can empathize with that. Unfortunately Dean was right. No matter how much Amy tries to avoid killing, she and her son need pituitary glands to survive. What happens the next time he gets sick? Or if she gets laid off and can't get a steady supply from work anymore? I'm just surprised Dean didn't kill Jacob too. I know he doesn't like killing kids, but I have a feeling that's a decision that's going to come back and bite him in the ass. Jacob may not have killed before, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if that changes soon.
And in other news, I'm going to the special hell for perving on wee badass Sammy. Teen Sam saving Amy from the bullies was totally my favorite scene in the whole episode.
