Daily 15 Minutes

Sidetracked again. You know all that stuff I said yesterday that I was going to do today? Well, today's 15 minutes was spent cleaning out the fridge. I noticed when I was putting the groceries away that some things had gone past their expiry date, and I needed the extra space anyway since the bottom shelf of the fridge is holding a case of bottled water. Word of advice: never let potato & cheese pierogi go bad. OMG. I didn't know they'd gone bad until I opened up the Corningware container they were in. I nearly wrote the container off in my hurry to dispose of them. Yuck. On the plus side, I now have much more room in the fridge.

Fandom Marathon

I have vacation days I have to use before I lose them, so I took next week off. I hadn't planned to take a vacation just now, so I'm really not feeling any inclination to go anywhere. My best friend will be out of town with her family and my other friends are working, so I don't really have anyone to do anything with either. So, I've decided to take a vacation in my apartment.

For the next 9 days, I will be immersing myself in my fandoms in a way I don't normally get to do. I have DVDs, zines, manga, online fic, email fic from Yahoo!Groups, and 2 new games for my Nintendo DS. We'll see how much I can blow through in 9 days.
