This was one of those episodes that only featured storylines I don't care about very much.

I liked Claire kicking sorority girl ass when they came to "kidnap" her and Gretchen. But in this day and age, what did they expect? Although I would like to point out to both Claire and Gretchen that the door to their dorm room came with a lock on it for a reason. They might want to start using it to, oh I don't know, prevent random people from bursting into their room in the middle of the night, or maybe prevent homicidal invisible people from pushing one of them out a window.

Speaking of homicidal invisible people, I also loved the scene where Becky impaled Claire, then Gretchen just lifted Claire off the rod sticking through her and set her on the floor. It was so casual in a 'could you pass me the salt?' kind of way, like Gretchen goes around un-impaling Claire all the time.

The Matt/Sylar thing just isn't doing anything for me, even if I do enjoy Imaginary!Sylar ragging on Matt. But why is Matt only acting out both sides of his Imaginary!Sylar conversations now? He's talked to Imaginary!Sylar in front of other people before and only acted out one side. At least Matt called Mohinder for help. I'm glad someone remembers Mohinder is supposed to be on the show. And I'm glad that becoming a raging alcoholic turned out not to be a viable strategy for keeping Matt's MPD in check.

Samuel still has anger management issues. I can't imagine why more people aren't begging to join the carnival and be at the mercy of someone who razes buildings to kill people he's not happy with. One of these days, I want Samuel to introduce himself to someone with his 'I'm your new friend' line and have it pointed out to him that people can figure out who their friends are all by themselves. If Samuel has to tell people they're friends, they're not friends. Just sayin'.

And where the hell is this carnival, anyway? It seems to be a short hop from New York, Virginia, and Georgia. If it only exists in hammerspace, I can see why the carnies could travel to and from it, but how is the general public finding this place? Where do they think it is?

This whole episode just really bored me. I can haz Petrellis nao plz?

Finally, we agree on something =) The Carnival thing blows my mind what with the now it's here, now it isn't thing... one more thing I really wish the writers would explain.
