Yeah at the start Alice says "I wanna go back and stay with Nanna." and Angela tells her she's overreacting, Surely Mrs. Mama!Shaw or whatever that her son/daughter and one of her grandchildren would have questioned where they went?
The only person I can think off who would have achieved millionaire status is Bob considering his ability was alchemy, maybe he was just extra giving when he was younger?
