Blah. Too much technobabble and psychobabble.
I wish I knew more about what goes on in Caroline's head because her decisions don't make a lot of sense to me. For instance, what made her decide to join the Dollhouse? Clearly she doesn't approve of what they're doing and what they stand for. I'd say it was to forget her boyfriend's death, but the Dollhouse was indirectly responsible for that, so I'd think she'd be more interested in bringing it down than joining it. It also doesn't look like she signed up for the money like the student who was the sole support for his mother.
For another thing, how could she think that releasing a bunch of helpless people unable to think for themselves onto the streets of Los Angeles would be a good thing? Restoring their free will, sure, but to just kick them out the door? They'd have no way to know where to go or how to look after themselves, so letting them loose in that state wouldn't be doing them any favors. I'm starting to think that Caroline's heart is in the right place but that she doesn't think things through as much as she should.
Alpha's plot seems to have been put on the back burner. I hope something actually comes of it and they don't just forget about him.
