I think she had said something to Nathan about it at one point. But you might be right that it would make sense for Peter not to know - I figured he assumed she had put that part together, seeing as how I figured it out the moment we knew he was going to explode (by that time he already had Claire's power).
As for how Angela knew - she'd been dreaming that moment for years according to back history. I'm not going to say that Angela is up for any awards entailing her nice lady of the year... far from it but then I tend to prefer morally ambiguous characters as I tend to be one. Her one weakness has always been her family (at least that's how I read it.) as for how long it's been since season one - I just started watching two weeks ago... we've been watching the back episodes on streaming vid through Netflix. We're hooked we're doing like 4 - 5 eps a night and more on the weekends.
