My SPN Wish List
Somehow, I always wind up waiting until the last minute to post my lists.
Things I would like to see on Supernatural in season 4:
1. Bobby Singer surviving the season
I put this at the top of my wish list last season and it worked, so I'm hoping my luck (and his) will hold if I do it again.
2. ScaryHunterPerson!Sam
And what I want more than anything is for Dean to see ScaryHunterPerson!Sam this time (he was dead and missed it in "Mystery Spot") and react to what his brother has become. John and (especially) Dean have always seen Sam as the light in the darkness of the Winchesters' lives, and I'd be interested to see how Dean would react if that light dimmed too much or went out.
3. Sam and Dean on motorcycles
Yeah, this is just me being shallow. Horses would be awesome too.
4. The return of Sam's powers
I know a lot of people think that Sam having his powers back would make him too much of a Sammy Sue (Mary Sam?), but I love the idea. The thing is, though, that I don't want him to have any control over them. My ultimate wish is for Sam to completely lose control of his abilities and wreak some havoc in a 'Carrie at the prom' kind of way. Of course, Dean would be the only one who could talk him down.
5. This season's great new ideas working out better than previous seasons' great new ideas
Every season, Kripke gets super-excited by some great new idea they've come up with in the writers' room and talks about how great the upcoming season is going to be. Previous 'great ideas' have included the Roadhouse (burned it down at the end of the season because it tied down the otherwise itinerant Winchesters; it's not like the Roadhouse could go to them), a love interest for Dean (wrote her out when the chemistry between Dean and Jo stalled at big brother/little sister), an all-out demon war (which died after the season opener and only turned up again for one episode late in the season due to budgetary constraints), and two kick-ass female antagonists (Ruby the demon, who was an interesting concept that went nowhere, and Bela the mercenary, who would've worked better if the writers had written her as smart, instead of dumbing down the Winchesters to make her look smart by comparison; both characters were written out at the end of the season). So, when Kripke said they had another great new idea that would revolutionize the show in season 4? I got a stomachache. I don't want to have to sit through another "No Exit" or "Red Sky at Morning." Nothing that's happened so far has been bad enough to make me stop watching the show, so I'm trying to stay optimistic and trust in the writers, but messing with the brotherly bond is the one thing my love for the show won't be able to survive if it doesn't work out.

Well, I think I have 3 right now. The mrstinkles, which I'd changed names from gailann. That was my first one. Then I created 3 more (don't even remember why!). I think I deleted 2 of them, but kept one up because I had a post I sort of liked. mrstinkles will be coming down as soon as its renewal is due.

But #3? ::fans face:: Oh, yeah. In tight, well-worn, button-fly jeans. Why yes! I am a dirty old woman.
