The End Is Nigh!

No, not the end of the world, just the end of the semester. I have turned in my last worksheet, completed my last online exercise, and taken my last chapter test. All that's left is the final, which is a week from today. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I have a week to study for it. I'd almost rather get it over with.

I remain blown away by how well I'm doing. I suck at foreign languages, but I've been doing really well in this class. I'll be continuing on next semester, and the good news is that my regular study partner and I signed up for the same class. Here's hoping next semester goes as well as this one did.

Oh, good luck on the final! This semester for me has gone so fast. I've turned in my last screenplay assignment, my answers to competency questions for college to workplace, my blog is finished and projects on cds turned in for my digital art class, and now I just have to rehearse and prepare my promptbook and perform for my directing class, and take my english grammar final.

Plus I turned in a request form for my transcript, and Jan. 12 my degree should be added to that. And then ceremonies and such are in May. I'm excited to be almost out of here.

Oh, and strange phone call today, Wolf Trap called me and now they want me to write up an artist bio as an application to the media relations internship. And I'd already moved on from them. Well, wish me luck with that would you?

Are you actually done with all your coursework and just have to wait until May for the ceremony, or do you have one more semester to go?

This semester has lurched along in fits and starts for me. There were times when it just seemed to drag on forever and other times where I kept wondering where the time went (usually around test time).

Good luck with the Wolf Trap internship! You must've made an impression if they remembered you and gave you another opportunity.

Once I get through my grammar final I'm done and now I just wait for my degree to be added to my transcript, and yeah the ceremony will be in May.

I am so happy with all the classes I took this semester, I'm getting good grades with all of them and they've helped me grow so much. And time really has flown.

Yeah the Wolf Trap thing didn't pan out as the guy's rehiring his previous intern. I'm frustrated with them and have decided if I'm called again and asked about another internship that I'm just going to say, 'I'm no longer interested in Wolf Trap', and say good bye and hang up. I have better things to do with my time and better places to look for internships anyways.

The night before my undergrad graduation ceremony, I was so freaked out by being done with school that I didn't sleep at all.

You never said how that class went. How'd it go?

Final grades won't be officially posted until tomorrow, but I went into the final exam with 97% overall in the class, so I don't think I could've done anything so catastrophic on the final that I'd lose the A. Even if I did, a B is a huge deal for someone who very nearly failed Spanish in high school.

I start semester #2 a week from Monday.
