SGA Ep: Submersion

Is it just me, or have John and Rodney been acting like two little kids at summer camp all season? I mean this in the best possible way. I've been loving the interaction between them this season.

Anyway, you know you've been watching too much Supernatural when John and Rodney walk away from the bullet-riddled body of the Wraith queen, and your first thought is that they should have salted and burned her to make sure she didn't come back.

In "The Game," definitely!

The snark is back! We lost it for a while after "Trinity," but it's come back quite nicely in season three. I'm surprised Weir hasn't gotten gray hairs from their antics ;)

I was thinking a good kill shot to the back of the head would have been good insurance to make sure the Queen was definitely dead.... but the salting and burning sounds good too !

I was also thinking of that ep in the first half of the season (dang it, I'm blanking--the one where Rodney took an arrow to the butt) where Rodney was lying on the floor on his stomach with his laptop and Sheppard came in and sat on the floor with him. They just reminded me of two little kids playing in their room.

Oh yes... "I can't believe this just happened!" screeches Rodney. So funny! and yup, that scene was great.

I just finished the latest LKH Anita Blake book, and since people keep calling the Wraith space vampires, I thought they should have cut off the Queen's head and taken out the heart. By the way, do Wraith have hearts?

I don't know if the Wraith have hearts or not. A good beheading ought to cover it, though. Even if the Wraith doesn't die, the body can't see where it's going without a head, and the head can't go anywhere without a body.

You're still reading Anita Blake? I admire your fortitude. I quit after Obsidian Butterfly. I so totally miss the days when she actually was a vampire hunter.

You know why I kept reading, for this very latest book. Edward's back!!!!!

Edward is the only reason I read Obsidian Butterfly. I would've quit the series beforehand otherwise. I love Edward, but I decided that if LKH could write a boring book about Edward (seriously, Anita had the same conversation about him using that family for cover nearly verbatim three times), then I was done with the series. Not even for Edward will I read this latest book (but I may reread Circus of the Damned, which I loved).
