I Made Another Thing

Pattern by StitchBucket on Etsy.

I had intended to have this finished by Halloween, but I guess I'll have to settle for being super early for next Halloween.

Cool! Even through the monitor, the colors are very vibrant.

It's a drop in the bucket compared with all of the people who put up their Christmas decorations long before Halloween.

This was a hard one to photograph because of the bright colors on the black background. The brights were either too bright or washed out.

Very cool! I love the shading - always tricky in cross stitch. And yes, you are now ultra-prepared for next Halloween - congratulations! :)

It's hard to tell from the photo, but the "forehead" area is 3 different nearly identical shades of yellow. It was very hard to keep track of which was which.

This was also my first time working on 18 ct aida. The project I'm working on now is on 14 ct antique white. The squares are suddenly so big and easy to see! ;-)

Hey...that's really cool. I love the shading in the colors - and I know how hard that is to do. Got a Christmas one in the works now?

All credit goes to the pattern maker. I just make little 'X's with thread.

I have a couple of Christmas patterns, but I'm not working on them at the moment. I'm currently about 95% done with the main characters from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and about 85% done with a project based on works of classical children's literature. So naturally I'll be starting a new project tonight instead of working on them.
