Grr. Argh.

Have you ever had one of those days where even though you’ve been stitching for years, possibly decades, you suddenly can’t find the holes in your aida cloth? And your stitches are all lopsided, and after giant swaths of tidy stitches, there’s suddenly a section that looks like an 8-year-old’s first project?

Sigh.

Yeah.

::sigh:: Oh, yeah. Looks like you fell asleep and your hands kept working on their own. And then there is the joy of UNPICKING. THE. WHOLE. @#!*#^%#$! THING. grrrr...

I'm in the middle of crocheting a belly dancer hip scarf for my niece. I had to undo 10 rows last night when it finally became glaringly obvious that things were NOT matching up. ::head-desk::

Ouch. Fortunately my bits matched up; they just look a little sloppier than I'd like. I thought about unpicking them (and I have unpicked a few bits on this project before), but it was two hours' worth of work I'd be pulling and my givadam broke. My project isn't a gift or a sale piece or anything, so I decided to just live with it.
