What a Difference a Day Makes

I don't know what it is about the move to Fridays that put me off, but I'm just not getting into Eureka this year. The show itself hasn't gotten worse from the couple of eps that I've seen (although I do think it's been missing a certain spark from the lack of Stark/Carter sniping), but it just doesn't feel like a Friday show to me.

Yeah, I know, I can watch it any day I want on Hulu. In a way, that's also part of the problem. Knowing I can watch it whenever I want usually leads to me deciding to watch it "later." That's the kind of thinking that resulted in huge piles of DVDs I bought and VHS tapes of things I recorded but never got around to watching because, hey, they're not goin' anywhere.

::sigh::

I would procrastinate if I ever got around to it.

I hear you about putting off watching things. I have tapes and tapes of stuff I meant to watch eventually---and now I don't even have a VCR.

And to think I used to make fun of my mom for doing the same thing. She'd ask me to record something for her, then never watch it. I couldn't understand it because I only taped things I couldn't bear to miss and had to watch immediately. Now I'm the one who never seems to get around to watching anything.
