Dollhouse Ep: Briar Rose

If ever there were a sign that I won't be watching this show next season (should it be renewed), this was it.

This episode was apparently the first part of a two part season finale. Big things happened. Ballard finally got into the Dollhouse and found Caroline. Alpha finally put in an appearance and returned to the Dollhouse to continue his fascination with Echo. And I totally didn't care. Didn't feel a thing and was bored silly by the whole thing. And any sympathy or understanding I may have had for Ballard went flying straight out the window as soon as he drove Mellie to the brink of suicide just so he could follow her back to the Dollhouse.

Also? Topher, Adelle, and Boyd were being exceptionally clueless when they were questioning the drugged Mr. Dominic (in poor Victor's body). All the actives at the Dollhouse are named after letters in the NATO phonetic alphabet. When Mr. Dominic mentioned 'whiskey,' he was not asking for booze. 'Whiskey' is part of the NATO phonetic alphabet. I know that and I'm not the one who chose the naming scheme for the actives.
