That's what BF and I were guessing. Between the economy and gas prices, which turned the cost of driving into something comparable to an airline flight, fewer people were able to make it this year. It's just kind of sad compared to the days of 5 hour vid shows, 90% of the doors decorated, and a room dealer in every third room. But like I said, even a slow year at MediaWest is more fun than I have anywhere else. It would just make me very sad if this con went the way of ZCon and some of the others that have folded in recent years.
