Yes, I totally agree with your breakdown of what is wrong with Sylar having this power. And they think time-travelling is confusing? At least the time travel didn't completely ruin the drama or tension of a scene.
If they don't remove at least shape shifting from Sylar's list of powers by the end of this Volume, I will be very disappointed.
All the Petrellis should always be in one place at the same time as far as I'm concerned.
