Wow. I couldn't get my brain to make coherent sentences after watching this episode, and then other stuff came up, and just ... yeah. This ep seriously had All Danny's Feelings. I loved BAMF!Danny and Daddy!Danny and Freaked-out Danny being held together by Rationally-Concerned Steve.

It's funny. The season that Show spent focusing on Steve's backstory involved oodles of betrayal and Steve being stupidly distant from his teammates. Now Show seems to be focusing on Danny's backstory, with lots of banter and bromance. There's still plenty of angst and suffering, but Danny deals with it by bringing Steve closer instead of pushing him away. I like this much better!
